Some of Dave's ADVENTURES
Bungee Jump
Jumping Australian style (forward facing jump with cord around ankles) from the tallest land based bungee tower in North America (215 feet, Longbeach CA).
By far the scariest thing I have ever done. The owner told me that thirty percent of his business came from people who never jumped. They changed their minds once they looked down from the jump platform and never even asked for their money back. There were four of us who made a pact to jump that morning. I was the only one who actually did it.
Sky Dive
I was working in Modesto CA and saw a sign outside a small regional airport advertising 50% off their sky diving package. There was no dollar amount listed and I was curious about how much 50 percent off was so I stopped in. The next thing I knew I was on a plane. It all happened so fast. In a span of twenty minutes I paid $100, signed their waiver, watched their safety video and jumped out of their perfectly good airplane.
Thirty five years later I took my daughter to Las Vegas and jumped out of another perfectly good airplane with her!
Scuba Dive
I did my SCUBA diving certification training on Catalina, a small beautiful Island just off the coast of southern California
Zip Line
Me and my oldest daughter Mandy on a zip line adventure in Las Vegas NV. The RIO hotel had a cable connected from the Voodoo Lounge on the forty fourth floor (500 feet high) down to their parking garage. You sat on a little rickety bench with a very basic lap seatbelt and they rocketed you out over the Las Vegas strip. It was absolutely terrifying. And then without even having a chance to catch your breath it shot you out again... BACKWARDS!
One in a million!
The first time me and my oldest daughter ever threw axes. We were not doing very good at all. Then a stranger offered to take a video of us and this miracle happened...
Epic fall
My daughter was behind me as I took a bad fall off of a moving cart. There is no empathy at all as she belly laughs at my misfortune...
92 Years Young
My Uncle Joe is still going strong at 92 years old. On this magical day I had him throwing axes and shooting blow darts. He was a natural at both. He is the best example of a good man I have ever come across.
82 Years Young
Nana refused to let Uncle Joe upstage her and let the axes fly also. Every year I give her the same Card thanking her for destroying the typical Mother in Law sterotype. She is absolutely wonderful.

I can't believe that someone let me drive a $280,000 Ferrari on a race track!

Of all the cars I've owned , it's one of my favorites. It's a 2000 BMW M Roadster. Not too many of them around.
